For a scenic and easy walk/run/bike, try out the downtown Eau Claire Riverwalk Trail. You'll see how it got its name; the entire trail runs along the the Chippewa River boasting some of the best views of our city. To complete your check-in, start your journey in Phoenix Park. To continue along the trail, cross the Phoenix Park Bridge, head south along the paved trail until you reach Grand Ave. and you see another bridge to your left, the Grand Avenue Bridge. Cross this bridge, turn left to stay on the trail, pass the Pablo Center and reach Haymarket Plaza as your end destination! Phoenix Park is just a 25 minute walk from the UW-Eau Claire campus.

The River Prairie Trail is a 2.9 mile loop that circles River Prairie Park. It is a great place to go for a run, a walk or a bike ride. Complete your check-in at the trail parking lot underneath the HWY 53 bridge. River Prairie Park is an approximate 10 minute drive from campus.
S Bridge
This bridge gets its name from its shape! The S Bridge is located across the street from the historic Banbury Place on Galloway St. in downtown Eau Claire. It can be accessed by driving north on Dewey St., and turning right on Gibson St. This unique bridge crosses the Eau Claire River and offers some of the coolest views year-round. It's an approximate 30 minute walk from campus.
